Description
The FF Faber T is an announced model of Faraday Future's Faber industrial mobile manipulator series and is not yet shipping. It is the dexterity model of the three: Gen-4 industrial dexterous hands come as standard, each arm is rated for up to 15 kg, and 35 degrees of freedom make it the most articulated Faber.
Faraday Future aims the T at power inspection, energy infrastructure and data-centre work, where a round can call for handling equipment as well as looking at it. The height-adjustable body works from floor level up to 1.8 m, and at 88.5 kg the T weighs less than half as much as the Faber U.
It shares the Faber platform: dual 7-axis force-controlled arms with joint force/torque sensing, a wheeled, height-adjustable body, interchangeable end-effectors, Ubuntu 22.04 and ROS with an open SDK and API, and OTA upgrades. On board, an NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin 64 GB module provides 275 TOPS, and a 720 Wh battery gives more than two hours of endurance.
Because the T is not yet released, its sensor set, navigation speed and final delivery specification are confirmed in writing at quote. If you need a Faber you can specify today, compare it with the Faber U.
